Morning Tasks
Our second visit to Down Grange to assist Steve and Marion was attended by 8 willing and able volunteers. The tasks for the day included clearing and tidying fallen branches, bramble cutting and blackthorn popping. The morning was quite breezy but the location for our tasks was fairly sheltered.

As with our last visit, we paused mid morning for a hot drink provided by Marion and muffins made by Ildi.
Afternoon Social – Antarctic Picture Show
Following on from the morning’s work party Colin and Mary kindly hosted lunch, with Mary making a delicious chilli bean carne. Roy and Terri then shared their photos and stories of their expedition to the Antarctic. Wow, what a trip!
