As can be seen in the photo of the live hedge the weather for this month’s working party was a little menacing…
We managed to tidy up the hedge a little before the rain fell heavily and then retreated to the Holly Blue for some shelter and well earned coffee and cake.
The Flower Boxes needed a little attention, but were still looking great.
Sadly, we have to report that the Flower Boxes have since been the subject of some vandalism. We have done our best to recover the damage and add further planting. We have requested access to the Café security camera footage and have reported the issue to the community police.
A few members of the group managed to return to the park later in the week when the weather was a lot better and completed the hedge tidy up and also reorganised our tool store ready for the next working party.
