We were joined by the wonderful team from the Newbury Building Society for our working party this month. The weather was overcast with occasional light drizzle, but not enough to dampen our enthusiasm for a number of tasks.
With the augmented numbers we had the opportunity to split into two groups, with one group (pictured above) focussing on removing dogwood from the area surrounding the Bug Hotel we sited a couple of years ago and the other group initially tasked with collecting wild flower seeds. On initial inspection the second group found it was too early and too wet to collect seeds so the group spent their time removing more tree guards and collecting litter.
The morning was once again completed with a well earned brew and cake at the wonderful Holly Blue.
